Hello,

Designation : Manager Projects Switchyard / Power Evacuation Systems

Location: Vijapur, Karnataka

Industry - Solar, Renewable

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for end-to-end execution of 220kV Pooling & Grid Substations (PSS/GSS) for renewable projects, covering engineering coordination, construction, testing & commissioning, and stakeholder management to ensure safe, compliant, and timely power evacuation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of 220kV/132kV switchyards (AIS/GIS), including civil, structural & electrical works.
  • Manage contractors, ensure adherence to drawings, specs, timelines, and site productivity.
  • Plan & supervise testing and commissioning (protection systems, SCADA/RTU, relay coordination).
  • Coordinate with utilities (STU/CTU/SLDC) for approvals, synchronization & commissioning.
  • Interface with engineering teams for design validation, layouts, and optimization.
  • Oversee permits, CEIG approvals, and ensure regulatory & safety compliance.
  • Manage stakeholders including utilities, EPC contractors & internal teams.
  • Monitor project schedule, risks, costs, and support claims/change management.
  • Ensure HSE standards and QA/QC implementation across all activities.
