Position: Plant Head

Responsible for leading end-to-end plant operations and driving safety, quality, productivity, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations

• Ensure timely production as per required volumes, quality standards and delivery timelines, in compliance with ISO and FSSAI norms.
• Maintain quality standards across all stages of product processing.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of products to customers.
• Ensure effective preventive maintenance and minimise equipment downtime.
• Minimise customer complaints and ensure timely closure of all complaints.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement and Sales teams to continuously improve daily operations.
  
  

Plant Capability & Continuous Improvement

• Build a strong safety culture through regular collaboration, coaching and employee involvement.
• Optimise plant operations through effective planning and minimise production and film losses.
• Implement effective production management practices and systems to improve productivity.
• Drive sustainability initiatives, including water conservation and solid waste management.
• Implement and strengthen 5S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Build and develop cross-functional plant teams while promoting common goals and collaboration.
  
  

General Management

• Prepare the annual plant budget and monitor overall costs against approved budgets.
• Liaise with external stakeholders to minimise disruptions to plant operations.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with relevant government officials.
