Job Description

Job Summary

The Measurement team, part of the GTM & Impact vertical under PRS, plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making for advertisers and internal stakeholders. The team is responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing measurement initiatives that demonstrate the effectiveness of advertising investments across JioStar's Sports properties.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver campaign effectiveness studies, generate actionable insights, and craft compelling narratives that showcase the impact of advertising on brand metrics. The role will also involve translating measurement outputs into business-relevant stories that strengthen advertiser propositions and support sales conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Sales and internal teams to set up, execute, and deliver campaign measurement studies (such as Brand Lift Studies and other effectiveness frameworks) that demonstrate advertising impact.
  • Partner with GTM and Brand Solutions teams to translate measurement outputs into compelling narratives, case studies, and advertiser-facing stories.
  • Analyze campaign performance and derive insights that highlight the effectiveness of advertising across JioStar's sports properties.
  • Identify business challenges and propose data-driven solutions leveraging syndicated tools, campaign analytics, or custom research studies.
  • Use syndicated data sources and internal analytics to enrich campaign impact reports and strengthen advertiser storytelling.
  • Understand advertiser objectives and propose measurement solutions even in the absence of a structured brief.
  • Manage research vendors and coordinate with internal finance and commercial teams to ensure smooth execution of measurement projects.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign measurement outputs.
  • Basic understanding of media measurement and advertising evaluation techniques (e.g., brand lift, search lift, social chatter, geo lift, cross media, conversion lift, MMM, A/B testing).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple data points to derive meaningful insights and business implications.
  • A proactive attitude with the drive to go beyond defined responsibilities and willingness to learn.
  • Strong interest in advertising, media, and sports.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • A consumer / market insights professional with more than 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in brand, media, or marketing measurement.
  • Experience in advertising effectiveness measurement such as Brand Lift Studies, campaign evaluation, or media impact studies.
  • Ability to apply domain expertise for business partnering – e.g., recommending KPIs based on brand and marketing objectives and aligning them to marketing funnel metrics.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • BARC knowledge or familiarity with media measurement ecosystems.
