This team integrates human thinking with machine efficiency to deliver process excellence across GTC. The team works to understand processes, automate repeatable, rule based manual intensive tasks, create analytics in order to enhance efficiency and effectiveness by various tool integrations and processes reengineering.
Purpose Of The Role
Be part of Digital transformation and controls team for Automation / Analytics project delivery, liaising with process teams, technology and automation COE that also includes design, development, troubleshooting, support and debugging of automations.
How will you make an impact in this role
Be part of GTC Digital Transformation team and play a pivotal role in driving automation, analytics, and innovation across Treasury operations. This role focuses on identifying opportunities to simplify processes, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver data-driven insights through the adoption of automation technologies, analytics solutions, and emerging digital capabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Finance processes, combined with hands-on expertise in automation tools and application development. The role requires experience working across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), partnering with business and technology stakeholders to design, develop, and implement scalable solutions that solve complex business challenges.
Success in this role demands strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, concise and effective communication skills, and the ability to independently manage priorities while collaborating across multiple functions. The individual will serve as a key enabler of Treasury's digital transformation journey by driving process innovation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies, including Generative AI.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Technology, Automation Center of Excellence (COE), and business process teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact automation and analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with process owners and SMEs to evaluate current-state processes, uncover optimization opportunities, and redesign workflows to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve scalability and customer experience.
- Apply strong treasury and operational expertise to support critical processes, solve complex business challenges, and drive sustainable process improvements.
- Define and drive product strategy and execution for automation capabilities leveraging Google Cloud Platform (LUMI).
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform (LUMI) to access, analyze, and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data, enabling actionable insights and data-driven decision-making.
- Design, develop, and deploy self-service digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.) to reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and streamline operations.
- Build and deliver advanced analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide business insights and support performance management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, effectively managing business requirements, queries, and escalations while ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, collaborating across cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.
- Work within an Agile environment, demonstrating adaptability, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional transformation and automation projects, ensuring delivery against defined timelines, objectives, and business value targets.
- Promote adoption of automation, analytics, and digital capabilities by driving best practices, governance standards, and continuous improvement initiatives across Treasury.
- Champion digital transformation within Treasury, including identifying and implementing Generative AI use cases to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in automation, analytics, and AI, proactively recommending innovative solutions to strengthen organizational capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any other relevant qualification.
- 8+ years of experience delivering automation and analytics solutions across diverse technology platforms, including Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), Big Data platforms (such as LUMI), and cloud-based services, is preferred.
- Knowledge about Databases, SQL, Data movement, and APIs is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework, have an Agile mindset, and can embrace new opportunities and adapt easily to change.
- Knowledge and experience in AI/ML is preferred.
