Job Description

Overview

The main purpose for RFX & Contracting will be:

Develop Global Procurement (GP) value by managing competitive events, streamlining RFx-to-award cycles to achieve best value agreements when we source. Translating strategy to automated RFx solutions will enable an E2E process that helps support global spend while delivering incremental and substantial productivity

Conducts contract process challenges and ensure KPIs and SLAs. This person will be an important connection with Legal team and GP category leaders with the aim to set up capability/service management, governance policies and driving process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Track and report SLA/KPIs/Savings as per agreed methodology
  • Support the Cat Mgr. & Regional Mgr. with the Supply market scan - identify potential supply base / prepare short-list
  • Gather requirements for Rfx from category manager and regional leads
  • Collection, tracking, analysis, rank if evaluation matrix, summary & reporting for RFx/competitive bidding process across contractual requirements, cost, service, quality, sustainability, and innovation
  • Gather supplier questions and share responses to all suppliers
  • Partner with the suppliers to ensure Rfx process is 100% correctly completed
  • Do supplier financial checks
  • Do supplier reference checks wherever applicable
  • Ensure complete and correct local/global reports and analysis provided to support Ariba eSourcing process
  • Prepares and delivers training to suppliers on using Ariba eSourcing/e-auction tool
  • Manages and leads NDA process with Legal, suppliers and category managers and regional leads
  • Manages and lead TPDD and GISR
  • Aligns with category managers and regional leads on productivity, criteria, and timeline expectations for Ariba eSourcing/e-auction process specific for each event/category
  • Lead workshops with users to find opportunities for improved/efficient reporting and align work plan
  • Analyze data and Reports and offer recommendations for improvements to Reports, eSourcing Tools, processes, data collection, and sourcing plans
  • Provide input on automation, standardization, and simplification in the GBS contract processes
  • Follow the process around measurement and metrics for contract creation, execution, and maintenance.
  • Review all contract requisitions are aligned to PepsiCo & GP policies & procedures.
  • Work with legal, supplier to develop Contract incl SLAs for final approval by Cat Mgr. and Regional leads. One approved upload to Selectica contract mgt tool and track signature process in time.
  • Constant communication and collaboration with stakeholders and legal team to get accurate information and measure performance and fulfillment of deliveries and quality of documents.
  • Approve/deny contracts requisitions within the SLAs
  • Up-to-date Procurement Knowledge of all Procurement processes, policies, categories & suppliers
  • Keep track of all reviewed contract requisitions according to KPIs established.
  • New contracts or renewal others
  • Update suppliers documents
  • Obtain further information to support contract first draft creation

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Request for Proposal & Contracting experience is required.
  • 7-9 years of experience in GP Operations/Shared Services
  • Broad understanding of Global Procurement activities
  • Effective communication skills, proficiency in English language
  • Good PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP (Ariba) or other e-Sourcing tools essential
  • Strong contract negotiation, supplier management
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and root cause identification skills
