They are looking to hire a procurement manager.
Job Description
Reporting to the Operations head, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to support the organisation's goals and objectives.
- Monitoring and managing procurement budgets to control costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Sourcing and procuring materials, including paper, ink, machinery, and other printing supplies, to meet production requirements.
- Collaborating with quality control teams to ensure that procured materials meet the required standards for printing.
- Leading and mentoring a team of procurement professionals
- Managing inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of materials and minimise excess or obsolete inventory.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally you should have completed B.E./B.Tech with 10-20 years of experience in procurement within the paper, printing or packaging industry. You should have extensive experience in team management along with critical problem solving. You have excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal relations skills. You have a great track record and are open to new challenges.
