Job Description:
We are looking for a Manager - Process Care & Quality to ensure stable manufacturing processes, consistent product quality, and continuous improvement for our PV Ribbon manufacturing plant. The role focuses on process control, rejection reduction, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control manufacturing processes for PV Ribbon, Tabbing PV Wire, and PV Bus Bar.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and SOPs.
- Drive rejection reduction, scrap minimization, and yield improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Implement quality tools (SPC, FMEA, Control Plans) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure calibration and upkeep of quality instruments and testing equipment.
- Support TPM, 5S, Kaizen, safety, and statutory compliance.
- Train and guide shop-floor teams on process discipline and quality practices.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Engineering graduate (Mechanical / Metallurgy / Production or relevant).
- 10-13 years of experience in process care and quality in manufacturing
(Solar PV / wire / ribbon / copper processing preferred). - Strong hands-on process troubleshooting and quality tools exposure.
- Proven experience in rejection reduction and productivity improvement.
- Strong shop-floor leadership and people management skills.
