Are you an experienced privacy professional with strong expertise in global privacy laws and hands-on experience in implementing privacy programs Tsaaro is looking for a Manager Privacy to join our Mumbai team and lead high-impact privacy engagements for enterprise clients.

Your Role: Manager Privacy

As a Manager Privacy, you will lead client engagements, oversee privacy compliance programs, and deliver expert advisory across global privacy regulations and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage privacy assessments including DPIAs, PIAs, RoPA, privacy gap assessments, and internal audits
Implement and operationalize privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act, PDPL, etc.)
Develop and review privacy policies, procedures, notices, and governance documentation
Drive incident response management, breach readiness, and remediation workflows
Support implementation of ISO 27701, ISO 27001 controls and privacy-by-design practices
Conduct third-party risk assessments and vendor privacy evaluations
Advise client leadership teams on privacy posture, risks, and compliance strategies
Ensure timely delivery of privacy programs and manage a team of consultants
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including security, legal, IT, and compliance

Requirements

47 years of experience in Privacy, Data Protection, GRC, or Cybersecurity

Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act, PDPL, and other global regulations

Hands-on experience with DPIAs, RoPA, privacy audits, incident management, and DSAR handling

Understanding of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST, SOC 2 frameworks

Experience working with privacy tools like OneTrust, Securiti.ai, BigID (preferred)

Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, ISO 27001 LA/LI (preferred)

Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills
