We are looking for an experienced Power BI / Tableau Developer with strong data visualization and business intelligence expertise. The role requires hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that drive business decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong data modeling skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to translate business requirements into impactful visual analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau.
Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
Develop and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Tableau calculated fields.
Perform data transformation and integration using SQL and ETL tools.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance optimization of dashboards.
Create reusable datasets and standardized reporting frameworks.
Work closely with stakeholders across business, sales, and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights.
Implement row-level security and data governance best practices.
Troubleshoot performance and data-related issues in BI reports.
Document technical specifications and maintain reporting standards.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization.
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling).
Strong hands-on experience with Tableau (Dashboard design, LOD expressions, calculated fields).
Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
Experience working with large datasets from multiple data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Salesforce etc.).
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema).
Experience in performance tuning and dashboard optimization.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Experience with Power Apps development and integration with Power BI.
Knowledge of Power Automate.
Exposure to Azure data services or cloud-based data platforms.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
