- Conduct targeted market research to identify potential customers, new applications, and high-growth geographic areas for recycled polyolefins.
- Lead market studies focused on the sales and adoption of recycled polyolefins (PP, HDPE, LDPE) across manufacturing sectors.
- Analyse competitor activities, automotive industry standards, plastic recycling trends, and regulatory developments to formulate effective sales strategies.
2. Business Development & Commercials
- Leverage a strong existing industry network to pitch recycled polyolefins and secure steady business from injection moulders, blow moulders, and manufacturers.
- Drive new business development by establishing strategic relationships with automotive OEMs, Tier 1, and Tier 2 suppliers within the automotive industry.
- Lead commercial negotiations with prospective B2B clients to finalize pricing, contract terms, and supply agreements.
- Deliver on aggressive sales and volume targets while maintaining high commercial sharpness in a competitive market.
- Build and nurture long-term, relationship-driven partnerships with enterprise buyers that align with PFC's ethical standards.
3. Sourcing & Fulfillment
- Coordinate closely with internal production, logistics, and operations teams to ensure material specifications match customer needs and delivery schedules are met.
- Manage the fulfillment lifecycle, tracking order placement through to delivery and resolution of customer technical queries.
- Oversee and streamline collections and accounts receivable with clients to guarantee timely payments.
4. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all sales agreements and product distributions comply with strict automotive industry standards, environmental policies, and waste management regulations.
- Champion PFC's ethical sourcing framework by aligning customer requirements with certified WFTO compliance standards.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with technical/R&D, quality control, finance, and digital tech teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer retention.
- Support process improvements and product feedback loops to help adapt PFC's marketplace offerings to changing market demands.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualification: Graduate
Experience: 3+ years of proven business development and sales experience within the plastics, recycling, sustainability, and waste management sectors
Network Requirement: A strong, established network with automotive OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 automotive suppliers, injection moulders, blow moulders, compounders, converters etc. —specifically within South India.
Skills
- Deep technical understanding of recycled polyolefins (PP, HDPE, LDPE), polymer properties, compounding processes, grade variations, and their specific manufacturing applications across injection moulding, blow moulding, and automotive components.
- Exceptionally strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of handling high-volume B2B sales cycles, coupled with a self-starter attitude to independently leverage networks and build trust with automotive OEMs and manufacturing heads in a competitive market.
