Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager – Policy and Regulatory Affairs based in New Delhi.
Responsibilities include
a. Setting up meeting with ministries across states and central offices ( Ministers, Secretary, Jt Secretary level) on important representations of ISF.
b. Tracking, analyzing, and interpreting policy, legal, and regulatory developments impacting the employment industry.
c. Preparing policy briefs, position papers, consultation responses, and presentations to support advocacy with government ministries, regulators, and other stakeholders.
d. Coordinating with member organizations to gather inputs, harmonize viewpoints, and build consensus on industry positions.
e. Representing ISF in meetings, consultations, and forums, supporting the development of standards and guidelines, and maintaining up-to-date documentation on regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
f. Collaborate closely with internal teams to support communication, member engagement, and initiatives aimed at improving the regulatory ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (preferably in associations, policy, regulatory affairs, or consulting) working with government or industry bodies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory process and regulatory affairs (relevant to labor matters, employment will be bonus)
- Experience with regulatory submissions and documentation, including preparation of responses, representations, and position notes for policymakers and regulators
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added bonus
- Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills with the ability to simplify complex regulations into clear guidance.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the organization in external forums.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-evolving policy environment.
