Job Description

  • Design and implement effective learning and development strategies to support business objectives.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and develop tailored training programs for employees.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and provide targeted solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.
  • Manage the training budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in HR and training within the automotive industry.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in training and development activities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the plant HR team to ensure smooth operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager - Plant L&D (HR) should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in learning and development within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and labour laws.
  • Proven ability to design and execute effective training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
