Sabarmati HSR Hub is India's first transit-oriented development project and the starting point of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train. The development integrates the High Speed Rail (Bullet Train) station with a large-scale mixed-use urban ecosystem comprising retail, hospitality, office, and public spaces. Envisioned as a next-generation mobility and urban destination, the hub is being developed with a strong focus on connectivity, integrated infrastructure, and long-term urban value creation.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad for the Manager – Planning position at Sabarmati HSR Hub. The individual will be responsible for planning and coordinating activities to ensure the timely and efficient completion of the project. They will oversee data analysis,and project scheduling. The Manager will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, monitor project progress, and provide recommendations to optimize performance and address challenges. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

What your day looks like :

  • Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project (MSP) across multiple work packages

  • Break down master schedules into micro-level execution plans with clear activities, dependencies, and milestones

  • Track daily/weekly progress against planned schedules and identify slippages or delays early

  • Coordinate with execution teams, consultants, and contractors to gather inputs and ensure schedule alignment

  • Monitor critical paths and proactively flag risks impacting timelines

  • Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies to bring projects back on track

  • Generate periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and progress updates for internal leadership and stakeholders

  • Track resource allocation and support optimization for efficient execution

  • Ensure integration of interior, civil, MEP, and finishing activities within the overall project timeline

  • Support planning and coordination for hospitality/hotel components, ensuring sequencing aligns with operational requirements

  • Maintain proper documentation of schedules, revisions, and approvals

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related field
  • 5–6 years of experience in project planning and scheduling
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project (MSP) is mandatory
  • Experience in hospitality / hotel projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, dependencies, and execution workflows
  • Ability to analyze delays, identify bottlenecks, and propose practical solutions
  • Good communication and coordination skills across teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
