Cairn Oil & Gas, a Vedanta Company, India's largest private oil and gas producer, is looking to hire a Manager - Offsite and Logistics. The incumbent will be responsible for developing annual logistics plans, budgets, systems, and SOPs while ensuring full QHSE compliance. Leads end-to-end production logisticsincluding marine, aviation, crude evacuation, road logistics, and government coordinationalongside safety oversight, vendor management, statutory liaison, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities as a Manager - Offsite and Logistics: -

Planning & Budgeting

  • Prepare annual work program and budget for logistics department.
  • Ensure adherence to non-routine budget activities.

Systems, Policies & Procedures

  • Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures.
  • Communicate policies to all users.
  • Identify hazards/risks and define mitigation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE standards.
  • Maintain well-documented logistics systems.

Marine Operations & Production Logistics

  • Provide logistics support to rig operations and offshore facilities.
  • Manage port calls, offshore cargo operations, crude laycan activities.
  • Oversee crude transportation via trucking (loading to unloading).
  • Coordinate vessel operations and helicopter logistics.
  • Maintain accurate air logistics database for cost allocation.
  • Liaise with government bodies for approvals and compliance.
  • Prepare flight plans, schedules, and passenger manifests.
  • Manage road logistics and tanker contractor compliance with risk assessments.
  • Schedule offshore vessel voyages to ports.

HSE Management

  • Conduct vehicle safety inspections and maintenance schedules.
  • Organize and participate in safety audits.
  • Conduct safety sessions and ensure operations follow QHSE guidelines.
  • Participate in audits and close out non-compliances.
  • Strive for zero Lost Time Incidents (LTI).

Production Maintenance

  • Support production operations through daily maintenance at helihanger.
  • Enhance asset value of existing facilities.

Procurement

  • Approve vendors after evaluation.
  • Organize third-party inspections.
  • Resolve non-conformances and guide inspectors.
  • Provide feedback to vendors/agencies.
  • Ensure quality of services and close out NCRs.

Asset Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement asset optimization frameworks.
  • Encourage and implement improvement ideas from employees and contractors.

Statutory Requirements & External Liaison

  • Build and maintain goodwill with government bodies and local administration.
  • Ensure smooth helicopter, vessel, and road logistics operations supporting production and projects.

Documentation, Database & Reporting

  • Maintain monthly safety statistics.
  • Track and analyze road logistics and tanker movement data.
  • Provide management reports in required formats.

Self-Development

  • Continuously enhance knowledge, skills, and competencies.
  • Stay updated on developments within logistics discipline.

Education and Relevant Experience

Graduate with 10-12 yrs of overall experience with exposure in E&P/process industry.
