Job Description

About Titan

At Titan, we're redefining email for entrepreneurs, innovators, and creators—transforming it into a powerful tool for business growth. Built by a team that deeply cares about helping businesses succeed, Titan is more than just an email platform.

Founded by Bhavin Turakhia, who also founded Directi, Radix, and Zeta, with a combined enterprise value exceeding $2 billion—Titan is backed by a strong legacy of innovation. Today, Titan powers millions of conversations, with 2.4 million emails sent and received every week. In 2021, Automattic (the parent company of WordPress) invested $30M in Titan, valuing the company at $300M. This partnership fuels our mission to revolutionize email and build the future of digital communication.

At Titan, you'll be part of a fast-growing business, solving meaningful problems and shaping a product that empowers millions. Join us to make a real impact.

About the Role

You will own Titan's expansion into new partnership categories — from picking the category, to landing the first meeting, to closing the deal.

This role has three distinct phases of work that you'll move between continuously:

Category strategy (30% of the role). Working closely with leadership, you'll evaluate which new categories are worth entering against Titan's parabola of opportunity — does the category have scale, does the persona fit, do they sell email today, does the LTV math work You'll build the opportunity matrix, size the prize, and bring a defensible point of view to the call on what we go after.

Outbound execution (50–70% of the role in year 1, declining as deals come in). Once we've agreed on a category, you own the funnel from prospect identified to first meeting booked: research the category, identify the right decision-makers (Partnerships, Product, Revenue, C-level), craft category-specific pitches that speak to their business model, and run multi-channel outbound across email, LinkedIn, and ABM. Generic outreach will not work here — we've tried, it failed.

Deal execution (growing share of the role over year 1). Unlike a traditional BDR seat, you don't hand off after the first meeting. You run the partnership conversation through to a signed deal — discovery, commercial structuring, internal stakeholder management, and negotiation. You'll have leadership support on commercials and legal, but you own the relationship end-to-end.

What success looks like

  • In 6 months: One new partnership category has moved from zero to an active pipeline of qualified meetings, and the category-specific playbook (matrix, pitch assets, sequences) is documented and repeatable.
  • In 12 months: At least one signed partnership in a new category that's contributing to pipeline revenue, and a second category in active development.
  • In 18-24 months: A portfolio of 2-3 new partnership categories under your ownership, with a track record that opens up the next career step at Titan.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of total experience, including direct hands-on experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships at a SaaS company. MBAs welcome, but pre-MBA sales/BD reps are non-negotiable — this role requires craft that's built from doing, not from frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to write a pitch that lands a meeting with a senior decision-maker at a target company. We will test this.
  • Strong category-level thinking. You can read an industry, build the opportunity logic from first principles, and defend why one category beats another.
  • Comfort closing. You've owned a deal — even a small one — from first meeting to signed contract. You know what discovery, commercial back-and-forth, and stakeholder management actually look like.
  • Craft over volume. You'd rather send 20 sharp, tailored messages than 200 templated ones. Velocity matters; spam doesn't.
  • Self-direction in ambiguity. The playbook exists; the path in each new category doesn't. You navigate that without waiting for instruction.
  • Fluency with the tools of the trade — CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sequencing platforms, enrichment (Clay or similar), basic analytical chops in Sheets.
