Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role is responsible forsupport on TPM start-up & on-site supervision of Third-Party Manufacturing sites.

Incumbent will be the key point of contact between Abbott and the assigned TPM. Primary focus of this role is to continuously manage and improve the existing strategic relationship while being able to support onTPM development activities, building capabilities and direct day to day issue resolution in terms of technical, GMP and other quality standards as per Abbott guidelines. The role envisages the achievement of manufacturing targets meeting all Key Performance Indicators at site & work closely with AN cross functional team on different aspects. The incumbent will be based at TPM location/s and might have to travel to other locations basis business needs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • TPM Liaison/BAU operations- Build & maintain strong business relationship with TPM management.
  • TPM Start-up: Work closely with TPM core team ensuring smooth execution of project development activities.
  • On-Site supervision on project activities, work jointly with TPM management on timely readiness of site for FLTS/key project milestones.
  • Design & establish required processes & good practices at TPM for successful transfer of AN products at Site.
  • Ensure consistent quality and quantity fulfilment of FG supplies through effective communications with key stake holders
  • Keep alignment between the TPM and Abbott teams on procurement, planning, manufacturing, quality releases and shipment of FG from TPM to Abbott warehouses
  • Managing the day-to-day action plans and communication with QA and technical operations team
  • Work closely with ANSC Planning & procurement team on inventory management for RM/PM/FG & sourcing/fulfillment strategy.
  • Working with QA to identify and implement quality systems at TPM
  • Work closely with relevant teams in Abbott to ensure legal, statutory & finance compliances at TPM. No critical NCs during Audits at site.

  • Identifying cost saving opportunities and working with ANRD/QA/Procurement for improvements

  • Establishing close and effective working relationship with the main functions of the TPM.

  • Working with QA to facilitate disposition of non-conforming product, quarantine shipments, complaint follow up, tracking, and closeout

  • Will undertake technical trials and improvement projects at TPM, establish a culture of CI at TPM.

  • Coach and inspire internal and external teams to assure successful alignment and execution of the AN vision.
