Job Title: Manager – SAP
About The Role
Purplle is looking for a Manager to drive SAP implementations and process transformation initiatives across business functions. This role will partner with business stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable SAP solutions. We are looking for someone who sees SAP not just as a system, but as a business transformation platform. We value a structured problem solver who can simplify processes, challenge inefficiencies, and drive meaningful operational improvements in fast-paced business environments.
This role is part of the Product Team and works closely with the SAP Lead to drive enterprise-wide process transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Problem Solving - Identify operational inefficiencies, evaluate trade-offs,and design scalable SAP-led solutions aligned to business goals. * End-to-End Project Ownership - Lead SAP implementation and enhancement projects from requirement gathering to deployment, ensuring timely execution. * Integration & Process Alignment - Ensure seamless integration across supply chain,warehouse, procurement, manufacturing, sales, and finance processes. * Stakeholder Management - Drive alignment across business teams, technology * stakeholders, and external SAP partners while ensuring delivery accountability. * Solution Quality & Governance - Ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality implementations. * Project Governance & Compliance - Drive governance processes including user access management, audit readiness, and compliance adherence
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1/Tier-2 college preferred * 4+ years of SAP consulting, implementation, or transformation experience, preferably in Retail or FMCG. * S/4HANA experience is mandatory. Strong knowledge of SAP MM and SD is preferred. * Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration * skills. * Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to push back on vendors while providing clear, concise updates to Senior Management * Basic understanding of SAP RISE concepts (FUE counts, Enterprise agreements) to assist in resource and license optimization * Exposure to Jira, Confluence or other AI tools for Project Governance
