About the role

The AlcoBev pricing ecosystem in India is state-driven, and policy-intensive, requiring strong orchestration across commercial, regulatory, and operational teams. This role sits at the intersection of governance, and execution, responsible not just for running pricing operations, but for designing and continuously improving how pricing is operationalized at scale.

The Manager – Revenue Management Governance will act as the central architect of the pricing operating model, translating excise policies and commercial intent into scalable, compliant, and automated execution across states, SKUs, and channels. The role carries high ownership, requires comfort with ambiguity, and demands the ability to influence decisions that have direct P&L and risk implications.

Roles and Responsibilities

Designing the pricing operating model

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end pricing operating model across states, defining how price cards are validated, uploaded, activated, and monitored
  • Build a scalable framework for managing operations with systems that can handle policy volatility, portfolio expansion, and complexity growth without increasing operational risk or turnaround time
  • Define clear governance, decision rights, escalation mechanisms, and success metrics for pricing operations

Annual planning

  • Build, publish, and own the annual pricing calendar (state-wise), coordinating with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Corporate Affairs to ensure timely readiness for MRP resets, excise changes, and new launches
  • Ensure pricing readiness for renewal cycles, and SKU expansions, ensuring zero disruption to market execution

Execution excellence

  • Own end-to-end price card management across brands, SKUs, pack sizes, channels, and states, ensuring accuracy, version control, and audit readiness
  • Ensure 100% first-time-right invoicing by embedding strong validation checks and close coordination with Master Data, ERP, and Finance teams
  • Act as the SPOC for all price card clarifications, revisions, and escalations, both internally and with regional teams
  • Identify opportunities to digitize and automate the journey from price creation to government approval to on-ground execution, reducing manual intervention and error rates
  • Partner with IT and Data teams to build scalable tools, trackers, dashboards, and approval workflows

Skills and/or knowledge

  • 3–4 years of experience in pricing or revenue operations roles within top-tier FMCG/CPG or similar industries; MBA / CA qualification will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to derive insights from unstructured data and convert them into clear, cross-functional action plans; advanced Excel proficiency is mandatory
  • Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is required; exposure to pricing and billing modules will be a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline pricing-related operations and drive higher levels of process automation
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to evaluate and execute business decisions with a sharp focus on P&L outcomes
  • Proven capability to adapt to, manage, and drive change across the organization, effectively influencing both leadership and operational teams
