Overview


CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. You may be required to travel to our Mumbai office based on business requirements or for company/team events (Use this option 1 when the position does not require travel to home office/client site). However, given the business requirements of this role, you are expected to frequently travel to our Mumbai office/location office (Use this option 2 for positions which require travel to office/client site). For this critical role, we are looking for the candidate to be based in Mumbai. You may choose to work from home in Mumbai however, you will be required to travel to our Andheri East office once a week for business requirements, meetings, or company/team events, or on short notice as needed, (Use this option 3 when looking for a candidate based in Mumbai)

We are seeking an experienced performance marketing professional to own and scale third-party marketing channels globally forPaperpal. This role will drive customer acquisition across native and content discovery networks, working closely with the Paid Marketing team to support broader growth goals. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on execution experience, and a passion for experimentation.


Responsibilities


  • Own third-party performance marketingnetworksend-to-end globally forPaperpal, with a focus onnative, content discovery, and premium publishernetworks..
  • Onboard, plan, execute, and scale campaigns across platforms such as Outbrain, Taboola, MGID,Nativo,Teadsand other relevant third-party networks to drive leads, revenue, and subscriptions.
  • Partner closely with the Paid (Performance) Marketing team to align third-party network efforts with broader acquisition, attribution, and growthgoals, alongside search and paid social channels,across key regions.
  • Design and execute a structured experimentation roadmap across creatives, audiences, bidding strategies, landing pages, and offers to improve CAC, CVR, and LTV.
  • Lead creative and funnel testing including headline-angle testing, advertorials, pre-landers, and long-form content optimization to improve engagement and downstream conversion.
  • Own performance monitoring, optimization, budgetallocationand large-scale budget allocation, ensuring efficient scaling and clear ROI accountability.
  • Analysechannel- and network-level performance data to inform scaling, iteration, and investment decisions.
  • Own tracking, attribution, and reporting frameworks in collaboration with BI and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally withProduct, Creative, BI, Finance, and Legal teams to deliver on business and complianceobjectives.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging third-party platforms toidentifynew growth opportunities.

Qualifications and Prerequisites


  • Bachelor's or master'sdegree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in performance marketing with strongexpertisein third-party / native / content discovery networks.
  • Experience in SaaS, subscription, academia, or niche markets with specialized audiences is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with native advertising, programmatic buying, and content discovery platforms, including audience targeting, bid optimization, and creative testing at scale.
  • Proven experience scaling platforms such as Outbrain, Taboola, MGID,Nativo,Teadsor similar networks across global markets.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using GA4 (or equivalent) to measure performance across leads, revenue, and subscriptions.Advanced reporting and dashboarding skills using Excel and/or BI tools.
  • Demonstrated experience running structured experiments andoptimizingbased on performance insights.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills across multiple campaigns and networks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Comfortoperatingwith high ownership, ambiguity, and minimal playbooks while building new growth channels.
