Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities Management (Healthcare preferred)

As a Manager Maintenance & Engineering at SMSIMSR, youll oversee the critical backbone of hospital infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted functionality of utilities, safety systems, and essential services. Youll lead a multidisciplinary team across engineering and facility domains to maintain a safe, clean, and functional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead operations across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, medical gas systems, STP, waste management, carpentry, and civil maintenance

Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules to minimize downtime

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for AMC, installation, and servicing of key systems

Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards, statutory guidelines, fire safety, biomedical waste, etc.

Implement energy-saving and water-saving measures in coordination with facility heads

Handle team scheduling, task allocation, training, and performance monitoring

Maintain engineering logs, compliance checklists, and infrastructure audit records

Collaborate with biomedical engineering and operations teams for infrastructure planning

Support facility expansion, renovation, and emergency response planning

Ensure 24x7 readiness of critical systems (e.g., emergency power, oxygen supply, elevators, etc.)
