Sabarmati HSR Hub is India's first transit-oriented development project and the starting point of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train. The development integrates the High Speed Rail (Bullet Train) station with a large-scale mixed-use urban ecosystem comprising retail, hospitality, office, and public spaces. Envisioned as a next-generation mobility and urban destination, the hub is being developed with a strong focus on connectivity, integrated infrastructure, and long-term urban value creation.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager – Interior Fit Out based in Ahmedabad. The Manager will oversee and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of interior fit-out projects. Responsibilities include ensuring quality control, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and designers, developing timelines and budgets, resolving on-site challenges, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The role will also require monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion within allocated resources.

What your day will look like :

  • Lead end-to-end execution of interior fit out works across retail, commercial, hospitality, and public spaces within the development

  • Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery

  • Review interior drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and alignment with site conditions

  • Manage multiple fitout packages simultaneously, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestones

  • Oversee site execution, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to approved designs, quality standards, and safety protocols

  • Resolve on-site challenges, design conflicts, and coordination issues in real time to maintain execution momentum

  • Track material approvals, mock-ups, and sample validations to ensure quality benchmarks are met

  • Drive vendor and contractor performance, ensuring accountability on timelines, cost, and quality

  • Manage budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities for value engineering without compromising design intent

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, fire safety norms, and project-specific guidelines

  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain consistency across all fitout zones

  • Maintain documentation for drawings, revisions, approvals, and site records with clear version control

  • Coordinate closely with base build teams to ensure seamless integration of interiors with core infrastructure

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil Engineering

  • 10+ years of experience in interior fit out execution (large-scale commercial, retail, hospitality projects preferred)

  • Strong understanding of materials, detailing, services coordination, and on-site execution

  • Proven experience in managing contractors, vendors, and multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to handle multiple packages and tight timelines without losing control on quality

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and decision-making ability on site

  • Good command over drawings, BOQs, and project documentation

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
