Overview

The purpose of the role in 2 areas, Spare Part Planning and Master Data Maintenance.

  • Continuous Improvement

Responsibilities

  • Support development of work tools for the plants & database development
  • Monthly update and performance monitoring, develop digital tool and update info
  • Develop database for high potential/low risk parts groups.
  • Create database of parts with 3d printing history and collect drawings and develop repository database. 3D printing database of potential spare parts. Identify high volume parts for intro to 3D printing (prioritisation)
  • Consolidate 3D printing supplier info into SAP supplier database
  • Identify alternate supplier requirements , re-badging, alternate manufacturing opportunities etc.
  • Data Cleansing & Master Data support
  • Review Data base in CMMS and complete info (FLs, BOM, etc)
  • Overstock / Lack of stock

Qualifications

Key Skills/Experience Required

  • MRP and Inventory Management Expertise: Extensive experience in MRP, inventory management and supply chain management, with a focus on indirect purchasing and spare part management.
  • Analytical and Planning Abilities: Strong analytical skills for inventory planning, coupled with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Leadership in Master Data Management: Experience leading master data maintenance efforts, ensuring data integrity in planning, procurement and inventory systems.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • SAP Expertise: Functional knowledge of SAP modules related to supply chain operations, including Material Planning Requirement (MRP), Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Sales & Distribution (SD) and Plant Maintenance (PM).
  • Supply Chain Acumen: A solid understanding of supply chain processes and the critical role of master data in supporting production, warehousing, logistics and fulfilment operations.
  • Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools for effective data analysis and troubleshooting.
