We are hiring a Medical Coding Manager to lead end-to-end physician coding operations across multiple specialties. The role requires strong expertise in CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS, along with proven people management, compliance, and client-handling skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage daily physician coding operations and ensure adherence to SLAs
- Ensure high coding accuracy and compliance with CMS, AAPC/AHIMA guidelines
- Lead internal and external audits; drive corrective and preventive actions
- Handle client communication, escalations and performance reviews
- Lead, mentor, and develop Team Leads and coding teams
- Track KPIs such as accuracy, productivity, TAT, denials, and rework
- Oversee training, refreshers, and certification readiness programs
- Support transitions, ramp-ups, process improvements, and automation initiatives
Skills Required:
- Should have 10 to 15 years of experience and minimum 3 years in management role.
- Strong knowledge of Physician Coding: E&M, Surgery, Modifiers
- US Healthcare & RCM domain expertise
- Team management and client-facing experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
