Manager - Medical Billing & Coding

Purpose of the Job:

The Manager Medical Billing & Coding will lead and oversee a team of Medical Billers and Medical Coders supporting U.S. healthcare clients. The role is responsible for driving A/R performance, denial reduction, coding accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.

This individual will combine hands-on revenue cycle expertise with proactive client engagement to ensure timely cash realization, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement while upholding OG 5 Principles: customer first, be straightforward, respect everyone, no ego, learn every day.

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities:

• 58+ years of U.S. Medical Billing / Revenue Cycle Management experience
• 23+ years of team leadership experience (Billing, A/R, Denials, Coding)
• Strong expertise in A/R management, denial reduction, and cash collections
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare and multi-payer regulations
• Proven track record of improving A/R aging and reducing denial rates
• Experience handling U.S. healthcare client calls independently
• Strong coding governance and quality audit exposure (CPC/CPB preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups); basic Power BI exposure
• Experience working on RCM platforms (Athena, Kareo, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
• Strong compliance knowledge (HIPAA, data security protocols)
