Role Purpose
To
build, protect, and amplify the hospital brand through integrated marketing, PR, and digital communicationdriving patient footfalls, doctor engagement, and community trust while ensuring medical ethics and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Branding & Brand Governance
- Own the hospital brand identity across all platformsoffline, online, internal, and external.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across OPD, IPD, diagnostics, website, social media, and print.
- Oversee branding of new services, centres of excellence, and specialty launches.
- Public Relations & Media Management
- Act as the single point of contact for all media interactions.
- Draft and release press notes, success stories, clinical breakthroughs, and CSR coverage.
- Manage crisis communication (clinical incidents, social media backlash, misinformation).
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare journalists and local media houses.
- Digital Marketing & Online Reputation
- Lead digital strategy across:
- Website content & SEO
- Social media (organic + paid)
- Google Business & online listings
- Monitor and manage online reviews, ratings, and patient feedback.
- Drive specialty-wise digital campaigns aligned with clinical priorities.
- Campaigns & Patient Outreach
- Plan and execute OPD/IPD growth campaigns, health talks, screening camps, and awareness drives.
- Coordinate doctor branding initiatives (profiles, videos, thought leadership content).
- Track ROI on campaignsfootfalls, conversions, not just likes.
- Internal Communication
- Strengthen internal communicationtownhalls, newsletters, internal branding.
- Align staff messaging with hospital values, culture, and patient-centric philosophy.
- Support HR and leadership communication during change, expansion, or acquisition phases.
- Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage external agencies (digital, creative, PR).
- Negotiate and control marketing budgets with clear deliverables.
- Ensure timely execution without cost overruns
Qualifications
Qualification: BDS/BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSc (life science) with MBA Marketing or Hospital Administration
Experience: Overall 10 years experience into Marketing and a minimum of 3 years working in Hospital Marketing & Communication.
