The Manager, Marketing, APAC, Middle East, and Africa is responsible for planning and delivering all candidate outreach and Test Prep relationship activities for the GMAT exam across the South Asia region, as well as activities for NMAT by GMAC™ for the India region. This role works closely with colleagues across the School and Industry Engagement (S&IE) team and with relevant colleagues based in Reston, including Marketing and Communications, Product, Legal, Research, and other teams as needed, who together contribute to the development and implementation of GMAC's market development, marketing, and communications efforts worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan the annual candidate outreach events calendar and marketing activities for the GMAT and NMAT by GMAC, in partnership with leading schools (i.e., ISB, NMIMS etc.), candidate fairs (e.g., GMAC Tours), and Test Prep companies.
- Build the candidate pipeline by organising round-the-year webinars and events with internal audience, external candidates, schools, Test Prep companies, and high commission offices in the South Asia, Middle East, Africa regions to spread more awareness, clear doubts and enhance GMAT adoption.
- Create and execute initiatives to address pipeline diversity needs, grow quality leads, opt in and support GMAC Tours registration/attendance goals, and increase the pipeline of unique test takers.
- Manage the entire OCP (On-campus) initiative, school and campus contact relationship. Plan and execute all activities (e.g., info sessions, branding, etc.).
- Work closely with the Wiley team for the Official Guide launches and support the on-ground promotion for all Prep products for the GMAT and NMAT by GMAC.
- Maintain relationships with Test Prep companies across the APAC, Middle East, and Africa regions. End-to-end management and execution of the annual Test Prep Summit.
- Lead management, reporting and uploading of all data collected from the field on HubSpot.
- Support digital marketing initiatives for NMAT via interactions with agency, publishers, influencers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and monitor external field marketing agencies, vendors, and competitors.
- Work closely with colleagues in regional offices and Reston on various projects. Organize field visits, interviews with candidates at OCP locations and Test Prep companies for visitors from the Reston office for research, new product launches, or insights.
- Gather market insights from candidates, partners, organizations, and influencers to inform the organization and support the development of content strategy and marketing campaigns.
- Manage printing and production of gifts and collaterals for all key stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or certification; or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
- 3-5 years experience in marketing, sales, or channel management.
- Previous experience in below the line marketing activities or managing campus activation programs.
- Experience in market analysis, competitor monitoring, and project management.
- Fair understanding of digital levels, specifically social, email marketing, and website management.
- Strong project management skills and understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
- Exceptional organizational, project planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize work to resolve operational or departmental issues.
- Self-starter; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (i.e., writing, editing, proofing, grammar) - with the ability to confidently present to large audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, with a keen focus on quality.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Comfort with multi-tasking.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) required.
- Able to travel at least approximately 12-14 days per month, mostly weekends.
- Able to travel internationally 10% of the time or as required.
- Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC's hybrid work environment.

Desired Skills/Experience
- Postgraduate qualification, ideally in Marketing.
- Professional experience in graduate management or familiarity with higher education industry.
- Experience in planning and executing digital/social media campaigns.
- Knowledge of two (2) regional languages relevant to the regions.
- Candidates currently based in or willing to relocate to Delhi / NCR in India, preferred.
