Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Process Engineer responsible for carrying process engineering designs, supporting project development, and following projects through all stages, from conceptual design through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and start-up. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the CBG and O & G sector and drive the transition to a more sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and choose suitable equipment and technologies for different stages of biogas production, such as pre-treatment, anaerobic digestion, and gas purification.
- Design, implement, and optimize processes for solid waste management and purification from organic feedstock, including anaerobic digestion and gas upgrading systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed facility mass and energy balances, involving process and instrumentation design and development.
- Provide detailed specifications for all process equipment during the design phase of projects.
- Identify multiple technical solutions to demonstrate value propositions and competitive advantages.
- Lead commissioning, start-up, and optimization activities for new biogas plant installations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to maintain and optimize plant efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in process design, data analysis, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Providing GFC for execution of projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Bio-Technology Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in biogas production, anaerobic digestion.
- Prior experience in project monitoring software (preferable)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative trouble-shooter who thrives when presented with a challenge.
- Preference shall be given to candidates who has work experience in PMC.
