Job Description

  • Provide legal guidance on labour, regulatory, and industryspecific laws, ensuring statutory and dataprotection compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts while supporting commercial, supplychain, and operations teams.
  • Manage litigation by coordinating with external counsel and ensuring timely updates to leadership.
  • Identify legal risks, recommend mitigation measures, and support internal audits and compliance reviews.
  • Support IR/ER matters and advise on Labour Code, Wage Code, and employment law requirements.
  • Maintain and oversee legal documentation, records, and governance processes.
  • Liaise with government authorities for approvals, permissions, and resolution of regulatory issues.
  • Ensure adherence to IMS standards, workplace safety obligations, ESG initiatives, and environmental compliance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing company policies and procedures

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate would possess:

  • A degree in Law from a recognized institution a CS qualification is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to the manufacturing sector.
  • Working knowledge of contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and their practical application.
  • Demonstrated experience with labour laws and providing legal oversight for multisite plant operations.
