We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Legal to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing legal risks, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic legal guidance to the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all legal matters for the organization.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal advice to management and staff on various issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant legal issues.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from NLU is mandatory; additional qualifications such as LLM are a plus.
- 4-8 years of experience in a corporate legal environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
