Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive
Manager - Legal to lead and manage legal and compliance activities across the organization. The role involves providing strategic legal guidance, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, supporting corporate governance initiatives, and handling dispute resolution matters. The ideal candidate should have strong contract management expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and strong leadership and coordination abilities to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all legal and compliance activities for the organization.
- Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on various corporate legal matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Draft and vet complex agreements executed with dealers, sellers, partners, and external stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and implementing corporate governance policies and procedures.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory and compliance-related matters.
- Support mergers and acquisitions activities, including due diligence and transaction documentation.
- Draft and issue legal notices and coordinate legal responses on behalf of the company.
- Represent the company in dispute resolution matters including arbitration and litigation.
- Coordinate with external legal counsels and regulatory authorities whenever required.
- Ensure legal compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Support internal stakeholders on legal documentation, negotiations, and risk assessments.
- Demonstrate strong team leading and coordination skills while working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with practical legal decision-making skills.
- LLB / LLM from a recognized institution.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in corporate legal, commercial contracts, compliance, or litigation management.
- Experience working with startups, fintech, agritech, or corporate legal environments is preferred.

- Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.

- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and handling dispute resolution matters.
- Knowledge of mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and corporate legal frameworks is preferred.
