Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for proactive approach towards the process with poka-yoke to make good quality of products (as cast and machining).
- Drive Zero customer complaint and customer-oriented quality mindset of all employees within the organization.
- Ensure Quality audit plan (system, process and products) is planned and executed as per plan
- To complete PPAP documentations along with the product readiness and to submit while dispatching the products, in coordination with Foundry and Machine shop
- Maintaining of all documentations related to QMS and / or specific to customer as needed.
- Responsible for root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for all customer complaints by collaborating with concerned CFT members.
- Responsible to ensure sustainability of corrective actions on periodic manner to avoid repeated complaints.
- Preparation and submission of 8D report on time as per different customer formats.
- Communicate with customers regarding quality concerns and collaborate on resolution strategies.
- Conduct customer complaint meeting on regular basis and to establish a system to prevent potential complaints.
- Conduct shop floor Gemba, Layered Process and Dock audits frequently to ensure sustenance of corrective actions and prevention of potential customer complaints
- Develop and implement quality procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze the complaint trend and proactively to take steps to meet the targets.
- Preparation of CSR and ensure it is adhered in all functions.
- Analyze the customer score card trend and proactively take steps to improve it.
- Effective safety practices and good housekeeping to achieve zero accident in department
- Implementation of TPM, 5S and Safety practices in Production
Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech in Metallurgy
Experience Level
Minimum 10 to 20 Years of experience in Lab and Process Control in Foundry.
