Job Description

Position: Manager - IT Operations

Location: Hybrid, Hyderabad

Work Timings: 2 to 11 PM IST

About the Role

We're looking for a Manager - IT Operations with 10+ years of experience to lead IT operations, strengthen infrastructure and security, and support a hybrid workforce. You'll handle asset lifecycle, system performance, security tools, user support, and compliance requirements while guiding the IT team and improving processes.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Manage day-to-day IT operations for both office and remote teams.
  • Ensure reliable performance and security of servers, networks, and business applications.
  • Maintain IT policies, SOPs, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity readiness.
  • Monitor and manage incoming tickets in Jira Service Management.

Asset & Vendor Management

  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets with accurate inventory tracking.
  • Oversee procurement, licensing, vendor relationships, and contract renewals.

Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services

  • Administer Microsoft 365 accounts, licenses, security settings, and core services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ensure proper configurations, data protection, and compliance.
  • Work directly with customers to understand business needs and deliver Microsoft Managed Services for Modern Workplace solutions (M365, Intune, related technologies).

Security Tools & Endpoint Management

  • Manage Netskope SASE policies, access controls, and threat protection.
  • Use Intune and Jamf to manage device enrollment, compliance, patches, and security across Windows and macOS.
  • Support incident response, conduct risk assessments, and strengthen overall security posture.

Compliance & Audits (ISO, SOC 2, GDPR)

  • Lead IT compliance audits (ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR, etc.), maintain documentation, and track remediation activities.
  • Ensure IT practices align with GDPR principles, including data handling, access control, retention, and breach reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with security, HR, and leadership to maintain ongoing compliance across all systems and workflows.

Team & Project Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor the IT team; manage escalations and workload distribution.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, tool rollouts, and other technology improvement projects.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years in IT operations, infrastructure, and security.
  • Strong knowledge of networks, firewalls, VPNs, cloud platforms, and endpoint security.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Jamf, Netskope, and identity management systems.
  • Experience supporting ISO, SOC 2, or GDPR compliance requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project management abilities.

Nice-to-Have

  • Certifications: ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, Azure/AWS, or security certifications.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, SSO, automation platforms, or SaaS management.
