We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to lead and manage the Infrastructure Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Windows-based infrastructure across enterprise environments. This role involves hands-on technical leadership, proactive system monitoring, incident resolution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Windows Server Management:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
- Perform regular patching, updates, and system health checks.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Certificate Services.
- Infrastructure Operations:
- Monitor server performance and availability using enterprise tools (e.g., SCOM, SolarWinds).
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS, and application-level issues.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Automation & Scripting:
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices where applicable.
- Security & Compliance:
- Enforce security policies and hardening standards.
- Support vulnerability remediation and compliance audits (e.g., ISO, SOC, GDPR).
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with network, storage, and application teams.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and incidents.
- Project Leadership:
- Lead or support infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Windows Server administration in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server roles/features.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- ITIL certification or understanding of ITSM processes preferred.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, AZ-104) are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills: (Optional)
- Experience with SCCM, WSUS, and endpoint management.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault).
- Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and migration strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24x7 operational support model.
