Position Summary
To strengthen Etraveli Group Internal Audit we are looking for a Manager Internal Audit. The position is located in Mumbai, India and will report to the Director Internal Audit.
If you have excellent communication skills and can work independently as well as in teams while conducting audits and business process reviews across multiple countries within a group structure, this role is for you.
As Manager Internal Audit you will be leading the Internal Audit team and be responsible for performing internal audits, monitoring controls and reporting to Management. This role reports to the Director Internal Audit. Location of the role is Mumbai.
Job Responsibilities
- Leading the internal audit team.
- Scope and perform internal audits (operational, compliance and risk management).
- Produce clear and concise internal audit reports that summarize internal control issues, recommendations and actions.
- Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
- Identify and reduce business and financial risks through monitoring and testing internal controls.
- Perform design and operating effectiveness testing of the internal control framework.
- Produce high quality internal control documentation and evidence to support the findings of any internal control review.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for remediation and follow-up
- Undertake any specific investigations or consultative work upon request.
- Support with risk management by providing advice and support as required.
Job Requirement
- 8+ years of experience within a Big 4 public accounting/consulting environment and/or experience with financial and operational audits in a multinational company.
- 2+ years of strong leadership experience.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is a plus.
- Relevant academic degree in a relevant field, for example Business or Economics.
- Sound understanding of auditing principles and practice, including risk based internal auditing.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills required.
