Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Insights & Analytics to lead client-facing analytics engagements. The role requires strong expertise in Insights and Analytics. The Manager will play a key role in structuring problem statements, leading project teams, engaging with clients, delivering insights that drive impactful business outcomes and mentoring associates/senior associates in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Leadership: Serve as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders, understanding their business priorities and translating them into actionable analytics solutions.

Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end analytics projects from scoping and problem definition to solution design, delivery, and impact measurement while managing project teams.

Diagnostic & Descriptive Analytics: Develop and deliver robust diagnostic and descriptive insights leveraging pharma commercial datasets (e.g., IQVIA, claims, prescription, patient, and HCP-level data).

Predictive Analytics (Good to Have): Support design and application of predictive models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, and ML techniques) to generate forward-looking insights.

Strategic Insights: Synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations that inform sales, marketing, patient analytics, and overall commercial strategy.

Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing thought leadership on analytics best practices, industry benchmarks, and innovation in data science applications.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with commercial, forecasting, and field force teams to align analytics output with business needs.

Team Management & Development: Manage, mentor, and coach analysts/senior analysts to build strong technical capabilities and client readiness.

Quality & Process Excellence: Ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in project delivery by institutionalizing quality checks, best practices, and re-usable frameworks.

Innovation: Explore new data sources, methodologies, and tools to enhance client deliverables and bring advanced analytics capabilities into mainstream consulting engagements.

What You Bring

Experience: 69 years of experience in pharma analytics/consulting with a strong focus on diagnostic and descriptive analytics; predictive modeling experience is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical expertise in handling large pharma datasets (sales, claims, Rx, HCP/patient-level).
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, coding, and visualization (Excel/VBA, SQL, Python/R, Tableau/Qlik preferred).

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading project teams, managing client engagement, and delivering end-to-end analytics solutions.

Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of pharma commercial analytics use cases across sales, marketing, patient, and HCP analytics.

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present insights to senior leadership.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
