RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End to end support of Medline's Server Infrastructure
- Troubleshooting infrastructure problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with other functions and product teams to ensure upkeep of Medline's infrastructure
- Manage OS & hardware upgrades to the latest stable versions.
- Identifying opportunities for improving infrastructure availability and reliability via continuous assessments and recommending solutions
- Documenting and enforcing infrastructure standards, SOP's and other necessary artefacts as required from time to time
- Ensure effective disaster recovery operations and backups.
- Maintain compliance of server infrastructure
- Maintain and Report operational metric and insights
Drive delivery of outcomes for key IT projects and initiatives.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering degree, or equivalent experience
- 10-15 years related experience and 5 years related management experience
- Extensive experience managing multi-skilled infrastructure teams
- Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in end-to-end management of on-premises and cloud infrastructure
- Very good understanding and experience of Operating systems across Microsoft and RedHat platforms
- Working experience on deploying and managing workloads on Azure cloud
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
- Good reporting and presentation skills with ability to provide insights and operational performance metrics from time to time
- Knowledge of service management key processes like incident, request fulfillment, problem, change and configuration management
- Relevant accreditation in Datacenter & cloud technologies is preferred
- Experience in multi-site healthcare organizations will be a plus
