Job Description :
- Strategy IT Network, Security & Windows ecosystem implementation and development
- Develop and execute the strategic plan for IT Network, Security & Windows ecosystem with respect to capacity management, technological infrastructure, business applications and support in line with the functional and business objectives
- Explore new technologies in the market and discuss the business viability for procurement of the same
- Develop business case along with the superior for migration to more robust and secure technological platforms / networks / applications
- Drive implementation of long-term projects for infrastructure improvement, capacity enhancement, etc. to prepare the technology infrastructure of the organization with the objective of supporting the business as well as organization growth in terms of systems, networks, servers, etc.
- Endpoint security:
- Develop, maintain and monitor endpoint security technology and best practices. Manage the company's endpoint security strategy, controls and provide ongoing monitoring of new technology and capabilities
- Provide leadership in the selection, design, and configuration of endpoint and mobility security controls, policies and processes to manage risk and interoperability
- Possess and maintain broad technical and business knowledge of all aspects of endpoint technologies including mobility, client operating systems, VDI and VPN
- Possess broad expertise with client and endpoint authentication (SSO), data protection, VPN, antivirus and anti-malware technologies and controls
- Ensure service metrics relating to operational effectiveness and assurance that endpoint configurations are compliant
- Provide design and architectural input on new services and solutions
- Manage the Endpoint security team
- Oversee the implementation, administration, and operation of multiple endpoint security technologies such as but not limited to TrendMicro, Bitlocker, Symantec, Forcpointetc.etc.
- Produce and track metrics for the effectiveness and maturity of endpoint security technologies and processes
- Ensure daily end-to-end delivery of Configuration Management services in accordance with Configuration Management Plan
- Performs operational activities as defined by Configuration Management policies and procedures
- Engages with strategic projects to ensure Configuration Management can deliver required functionality within project timeframes
- Mentors the organization on Configuration Management services, concepts, policies and procedures
- Create and drive proactive monitoring and reporting for endpoint and system health including, patching, compliance, and other performance metrics.
- IT Security Operations & projects
- Lead a team of highly capable Security engineering staff who maintain security for system environments ( Windows, LINUX, AWS, Azure, VPN, VDI etc.)
- Manage vulnerability remediation and incident handling across global resources
- Implement new security technologies as required to support a dynamic/challenging business environment
- Identify operational opportunities to implement security orchestration and automation capabilities
- Support InfoSec-managed tools and enforcement of global security controls
- Effectively provide general information security guidance & technology support to the business
- Maintain the day to day operations of configuration management platforms including application deployment and settings distribution
- Work as the escalation point between various teams for Security related activities.
- Integrate with other internal systems and tools like SIEM.
- Manage transition plans for major upgrades or patches
- Diagnose and investigate unique and complex systemic problems
- Work proficiently with minimal daily guidance and bring mature seasoned skills when working
- Lead the development of security engineering capabilities, security use case development and operational monitoring capabilities as multiple projects deliver.
- Ability to mentor and have the capability to influence the group.
- IT Network Operations - Central & PAN India
- Lead the Network Operations Center team to ensuring reliability, availability, compliance , preventive maintenance requirements, and readiness of network components and service providers for DC, DR & Branch network uptime.
- Management escalation point for after-hours critical issues
- Manage complex problems issues through to completion including timely, effective communication of network issues
- Coordinate network changes and requests with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in a tools and automation strategy discussions to identify and recommend new or modified tools, views, standards and audits
- Work with internal and external customers ( business) and suppliers to provide information, form action plans, create process and resolve findings
- Leads resources and budget levels to meet strategic objectives and operational needs
- Demonstrate diversity awareness and ensure recruiters utilize sourcing techniques that reach diverse population
- Lead the department and provide direction and guidance to establish team priorities and define and manage workload
- Lead enterprise support strategy development and assist with lifecycle management efforts for owned platforms/technologies inclusive of Wide Area Network Carrier, Routers and Switches, Wireless, DNS , Firewall, SD WAN, PIM and Proxy service etc.
- Ensure that operations management policies, standards and procedures are properly implemented, enhanced, and maintained
- Coordinate, monitor and track all Operations team tasks including incident management, repair and maintenance, closing incidents, preventive maintenance, and resolution of business issues
- Provides technical direction and assigns work to Network Infrastructure and Security Operations subordinates or others who assist in Project IT activities
- Leads team members to provide comprehensive technical support and training coordination to implement the Project IT Plan on a large project of significant complexity like DC migration.
- Technical and management competencies in security and data networking
- Vendor Management
- Engage with technology vendors in the market to stay abreast with latest technologies and explore ways to improve on the current infrastructure
- Conduct vendor assessment periodically and meet them to apprise them of concerns with respect to SLAs / issues, etc.
- Team Development and Engagement
- Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team
- Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance functional knowledge
Education/Qualification:. Graduation in Engineering or equivalent
