Manager- Indirect Taxation, Chartered Accountant

Job Description

• Purpose of the role-
• To provide advanced financial support to our business to function efficiently and effectively, by managing all aspects of indirect taxation for the company ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, optimizing tax positions, and supporting the company's financial strategies

Key Deliverables

• Ensure compliance with GST, Customs, and other indirect tax regulations
• Assist in timely filing of indirect tax returns
• Assist in filing of TDS/TCS returns as per Income Tax Act
• Assist in tax audits and assessments
• Optimize input tax credits
• Provide tax advisory on business transactions
• Support in department audits, regular assessments, tax litigation etc.
• Keep updated on changes in indirect/direct tax (TDS/TCS) laws and their impact on the business
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax efficient operations

Role Requirements-

Qualification: Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant, ICAI

Required Experience:

• 2-5 years of overall experience in the Taxation (preferably in FMCG set up)
• Experience on SAP is must.
• Knowledge on various direct & indirect taxes.
• Good knowledge of GST Portal, MS Office.
