Manager – Indirect Tax

Location: Mumbai or Bangalore

Conneqt Digital is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager Indirect Tax to lead and oversee GST compliance for a high-revenue business environment. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive indirect tax experience who excel in managing teams and delivering accurate reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage indirect tax operations, including GST compliance across domestic and overseas business.
• Oversee GST registrations (minimum of 100 handled previously) and ensure timely filing of returns.
• Perform reconciliations, handle Work in Progress (WiP), and manage Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) processes.
• Address audit queries, prepare responses, and support GST audits.
• Ensure comprehensive GST reporting and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and optimize tax processes while managing a team effectively.
• Utilize Excel and Advanced Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication on tax matters.

Qualifications

• Educational: Chartered Accountant (CA) with post-qualification experience of at least 7 years in indirect tax.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in GST regulations, filings, and audit handling.
• Experience working in a company with 5,000-7,000 crore revenue.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
• Other Requirements: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
