Job Description
This position is within ICS in AEBC India & will report to the Director – Business Regulatory Projects. The incumbent would be functionally responsible for project managing critical regulatory projects, which would span across business units of AEBC.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders to drive an agile implementation of critical regulatory projects.
- Assessing new and changing regulations in partnership with GCO, Compliance, CISO and Operational Excellence teams to determine impacts across the enterprise.
- Extensive collaboration with global functional teams across numerous business units and with controls functions for effective implementation and delivery of high priority projects.
- Effective program management (and documentation), including definition of principles, tools, processes, roles and responsibilities and effective communication and management protocols of risks, issues and changes.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise with strong technical skills, able to demonstrate driving success in large complex multi-market change efforts in an agile environment, working with senior level stakeholders, and of being able to lead and influence without direct authority.
- Strong enterprise thinking, organization abilities & communication skills.
- Knowledge of payments regulation and its impact on payment networks, acquirers and issuers; keen interest in developments in the Reg-Tech space.
- Understanding of key AXP operations and technology functions with proven ability to navigate AXP organization and to effectively drive results.
- Strong thought leadership, business acumen & execution skills. Strong control and compliance focus.
- Experience of regulatory change management either within the business, operational excellence or compliance preferred.
- Track record for change management and delivery in complex and highly matrixed organizations.
- High intellectual curiosity & critical thinking with the ability to understand new concepts quickly, deal with ambiguity and solve complex problems.
- Strong relationship and collaboration skills with the ability to influence a broad group of stakeholders across the organization, at all levels.
- Outstanding communicator with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and effective manner, adapting communications based on the audience.
- Candidates with over 7 years of experience with an MBA/Masters would be preferred. Knowledge of / Certifications in Agile Framework, Project Management, PMP etc. would be an added advantage.
