Job Description

We are seeking a hands‑on Oracle HCM Developer to design, configure, and build integrations and reports across Oracle Fusion HCM. You will translate business requirements into scalable configuration, performant integrations, and reliable analytics—improving data quality and automation across the employee lifecycle.

The Day-to-day Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Perform end‑to‑end configuration based on business requirements and continuous improvement, ensuring the system aligns with HR processes and policies.
  • Design and develop integration processes using HDL, HCM Extracts, and BI Publisher.
  • Customize reports, workflows, and data structures within Oracle HCM.
  • Audit data and clean datasets prior to feeding integrations.
  • Create and maintain BI Publisher reports and OTBI analyses/dashboards.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of HCM data structures and Oracle table relationships.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for report logic, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and maintain integrations with third‑party systems (REST/SOAP/file‑based).
  • Develop and deploy custom reports and data extracts per business needs.
  • Supervise and handle Oracle HCM Cloud system updates and releases, ensuring correct integration of new features and modules.
  • Test and address issues following system upgrades or patches (including targeted regression packs).
  • Ensure all configurations and customizations are thoroughly tested and documented (design notes, runbooks, migration steps, and test evidence).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience developing on Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Good understanding of integration tools, including web services, REST APIs, and file‑based integrations.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for report writing and data extraction.
  • Experience delivering end‑to‑end configuration or deployments in Oracle HCM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred / Nice‑to‑have

  • Certification in Oracle HCM Cloud is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware tools is a plus.
