HR Technology & Transformation Lead

Role Summary

We are looking for a tech-savvy, AI-driven HR professional who can reimagine and transform HR operations using technology, automation, and data. This role sits at the intersection of HR, AI, and engineering, and will play a critical role in simplifying HR processes, embedding automation, and building scalable digital solutions within the existing HR tech ecosystem.

This is a hands-on role, someone who can diagnose problems, design solutions, and actually build them.

Key Responsibilities

HR Transformation & Process Digitization

  • Deep dive into existing HR processes across the employee lifecycle (hire to retire) and identify opportunities for simplification and automation
  • Redesign HR workflows to be scalable, efficient, and employee-friendly
  • Drive HR transformation initiatives aligned with business growth and speed

AI & Automation Enablement

  • Identify and embed AI use cases within HR (chatbots, workflow automation, insights, document processing, employee self-service, etc.)
  • Build and deploy automation using low-code / no-code platforms and lightweight custom solutions
  • Partner with HR, IT, and Business teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems

HR Technology & Engineering

  • Work closely with HR systems (HRMS, ATS, payroll, engagement tools, etc) and extend their capabilities through automation and integrations
  • Build scripts, tools, or workflows using coding where required
  • Create internal tools, dashboards, bots, and APIs to solve real HR problems

Advisory & Thought

  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR leadership on technology, AI, and future-ready HR practices
  • Stay updated on emerging HR tech, AI trends, and automation frameworks and proactively recommend adoption
  • Define best practices, governance, and documentation for HR automation and AI usage

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in HR Operations / HR Technology / HR Transformation
  • Hands-on experience with AI applications in HR
  • Working knowledge of coding or scripting (Python, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, etc.)
  • Experience using low-code / no-code platforms (Power Automate, Zapier, Retool, Appsmith, Make, etc.)
  • Ability to understand business problems and translate them into technical solutions
  • Experience working in high-growth or fast-scaling organizations
  • Exposure to chatbot frameworks, RPA tools, or AI agents
  • Experience integrating multiple HR systems and tools
  • Strong data and analytics mindset
