1) Developing & implementing comprehensive worker/human rights strategies that align with Company's mission, values, and business objectives.
2) Managing and overseeing CSR programs and initiatives, including sustainability projects and community outreach.
3) Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address social, environmental, and ethical issues relevant to the business.
4) Monitoring and evaluating the impact of CSR policies and processes, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management and overseeing the implementation of remedial action plans.
5) Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in corporate social responsibility and responsible business conduct.
6) Promoting awareness and engagement in CSR activities among employees and the broader community.
7) Developing and implementing policies and processes to effectively identify and address worker and other human rights risks associated with the business, its operations and value chain, including effective delivery of grievance mechanisms to receive and address worker concerns.
8) Promoting understanding and effective implementation of CSR policies and processes through capacity building, education, engagement, and training.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's degree in business administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
2) CSR or sustainability with a focus on identifying and addressing human rights risks.
3) Strong understanding of CSR and responsible business conduct principles, frameworks, and best practices in the context of the Indian and international corporate landscape.
4) Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting.
5) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and relationship management.
6) High level of integrity and ethical standards, with a commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
7) Demonstrable academic and practical expertise in human rights including worker rights.
8) Demonstrable experience in delivering gender sensitive human rights risk management solutions and the practical implementation of safeguarding frameworks.
9) Experience in implementing the requirements of the POSH Act.
