Job Description
- Develop and execute comprehensive demand planning processes that incorporate sales forecasts, market trends, and historical data. Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather input and insights for demand forecasting.
- Utilize statistical models and Kinaxis tools to analyze data and forecast future demand accurately. Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and stock-outs. Identify and mitigate risks related to demand forecasting and inventory management.
- Lead monthly demand planning meetings to review forecasts and adjust plans as necessary. Continuously improve demand planning processes and systems to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency. Work cross-functionally with supply chain, production, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on demand forecasts and inventory management strategies
- Prepare regular reports/MIS and presentations on demand forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and related metrics for senior management. Liaison with different stakeholders to improve the overall KPIs
