About the Role
Recharge Studio is looking for a proactive and result-oriented Government Sales Manager to drive business growth through Government Departments, PSUs, Educational Institutions, Municipal Corporations, and other Government Organizations. The candidate will be responsible for generating business opportunities and selling the company's marketing, branding, digital, technology, event management, activation, and creative solutions through government channels. The role involves managing GeM Portal activities, participating in tenders, building client relationships, and converting opportunities into business
Responsibilities
Generate business opportunities from Government Departments, PSUs, Educational Institutions, and other Government Organizations.
Manage end-to-end activities on the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal.
Search, track, and participate in relevant tenders and bidding opportunities.
Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial bid submissions.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with government stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and procurement teams.
Follow up on purchase orders, contracts, and payments.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Government Sales, Institutional Sales, Tendering, or Business Development.
Hands-on experience with GeM Portal is mandatory.
Strong understanding of Government Procurement Processes and Tender Management.
Experience in bid preparation and documentation. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and field visits.s
