The Opportunity
As Manager - Global Sales and Distribution, you will guide a small, high‑performing technical team while remaining actively involved in hands‑on work. You will oversee enterprise‑wide programs and analytics leveraging platforms such as GitHub and Salesforce. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of Delta's Sales Innovation programs and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals while contributing to Sales Innovation deliverables.
- Partner with Sales Innovations, Sales Business Development, Enterprise Architecture, and business product owners to support new and existing products within the Sales IT portfolio.
- Maintain the product backlog for Sales IT Self‑Service, the B2B Partner Portal, and Incentive systems.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to Sales Innovation leadership and business partners.
- Ensure Delta methodology, standards, and procedures are consistently adopted and implemented.
Role Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
- 14+ years of relevant work experience, including 5+ years of people leadership experience
Technical Competencies
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on technical execution.
- Knowledge of deploying and managing cloud‑based infrastructures such as AWS and Salesforce Experience Cloud.
- Experience in performance management, including providing regular feedback, recognizing achievements, and addressing areas for improvement.
- Ability to verify that technical solutions meet customer business goals and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Experience collaborating with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to coordinate releases and platform enhancements.
- Experience in Team Leadership: Managed, mentored, coached and developed teams, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
- Experience in Resource Allocation, Capacity Planning & Resource utilization
- Experience in Performance Management by providing regular performance feedback, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement.

- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
