Job Description

1. Transaction Management
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable
  • Process vendor invoices, payments, and collections
  • Manage credit notes, debit notes, and adjustments across multi-level channels
2. Ledger & Bookkeeping
  • Maintain general ledger and sub-ledgers
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of all financial transactions
  • Perform periodic ledger scrutiny and cleanup
3. Inventory & Cost Accounting
  • Track inventory valuation across multiple product lines
  • Reconcile stock with financial records
  • Support pricing, margin analysis, and cost tracking
4. Bank & Cash Management
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Monitor cash flow and fund movements
  • Manage payment cycles (vendors, distributors, partners)
5. MIS & Reporting
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
  • Analyze sales, margins, and outstanding receivables
  • Support management with financial insights
6. Multi-Level Channel Accounting
  • Handle accounting for Global Branches
  • Track incentives, commissions, and scheme payouts
  • Reconcile partner accounts regularly
7. Month-End & Year-End Closing
  • Assist in closing books on a monthly and annual basis
  • Prepare schedules for financial statements
  • Support audit requirements from an operational perspective
  • Completion of Books and Final Audit

Requirements

  • Strong accounting fundamentals (journal entries, reconciliations, etc.)
  • Experience in high-volume transaction environments
  • Good Excel and ERP system proficiency
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Understanding of inventory-heavy businesses (preferably IT distribution)
