Purpose

As a German Language Expert, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality language training sessions to learners at various proficiency levels. You will design, plan, and implement effective training modules that enhance learners linguistic skills, cultural understanding, and confidence in using the German language in real-world contexts.


Key Responsibilities


· Lead Training: Conduct engaging and comprehensive German language lessons, helping students achieve their CEFR language proficiency goals.

· Curriculum Management: Develop, review, and enhance the German language curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the latest educational standards and meets learner needs.

· Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, implementing improvements as needed to maintain excellence in language instruction.

· Assessment & Feedback: Design and implement assessment tools to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to students.

· Cultural Integration: Incorporate German cultural elements into the curriculum, enriching the learning experience and providing students with a deeper understanding of the language.

  • Mock Assessments: Oversee and facilitate mock assessments across all centres to evaluate the effectiveness of language training, and establish mechanisms to identify and address learning gaps, particularly for slower learners.

  • Innovation in Learning: Drive innovation in German language training by integrating immersive, technology-enabled learning tools, real-world simulation modules, and outcome-based pedagogy aligned with global standards. Foster continuous improvement through data-driven insights, adaptive learning approaches, and industry-linked content for enhanced learner proficiency and employability.

Knowledge and Experience

Education Qualifications

Certification: C1 level certification from either Goethe-Institut, ÖSD, or TELC.

Experience

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in training in the German language, with a proven track record as a teacher, trainer or instructor.

· In-depth knowledge of language teaching methodologies and the ability to adapt to various learning styles.

· Ability to design creative and engaging learning activities.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.

· Strong understanding of German grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

· Extensive knowledge of German culture, with the ability to integrate cultural insights into the language training program.

· Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in language teaching and the ability to implement them effectively.
