Job Description

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

Dhruva Space is seeking a commercially driven and technically proficient Manager - GeoInt Sales & Pre-Sales professional to drive revenue growth across the Satellite Imagery / GeoInt vertical. This role involves working with a cross-functional team comprising pre-sales engineers and business development professionals, supporting commercial, government, and security agency clients. The role will contribute to end-to-end business performance, including revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with a team of pre-sales engineers and business development executives
  • Support in setting performance targets and driving accountability across the team
  • Contribute to building a culture of technical credibility and commercial excellence
  • Support end-to-end revenue activities from lead generation to deal closure
  • Contribute to overall business performance, including revenue, margins, and profitability (P&L)
  • Support the execution of revenue strategy, pipeline growth, and conversion efficiency
  • Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
  • Report pipeline health, forecasts, and deal progress to senior leadership
  • Manage and grow strategic/key accounts, driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Support proposal writing, RFP/RFQ/EOI responses, and solution architecture
  • Ensure compliance with government and regulatory procurement frameworks
  • Engage with key clients and stakeholders to position strategic solutions
  • Translate technical capabilities into strong business value propositions
  • Support execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies across regions and verticals
  • Conduct market analysis, competitive positioning, and opportunity mapping
  • Identify and support onboarding of global channel and technology partners
  • Contribute to strategic partnerships and joint go-to-market initiatives
  • Support negotiation and management of partner agreements
  • Maintain sales pipeline hygiene and reporting using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce,HubSpot)
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, delivery, legal, finance) forexecution
  • Stay updated on market trends in satellite imagery, Earth observation, and GeoInt
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Geospatial Sciences, Business, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or business development
  • Experience in team collaboration with exposure to revenue accountability
  • Strong understanding of satellite imagery, Earth observation, and geospatial technologies
  • Experience across domains such as defence, agriculture, infrastructure, maritime, or energy
  • Proven expertise in solution selling and supporting complex, high-value deals
  • Familiarity with Optical, SAR, and Hyperspectral imagery
  • Working knowledge of GIS tools and imagery analytics platforms
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong presentation and client-facing skills, including executive-level engagement
  • Ability to influence decision-making and build long-term client relationships
  • Experience in handling bids/tenders (RFPs, RFQs, EOIs), especially in government or defence sectors
  • Experience with CRM tools and structured sales processes
  • Willingness to travel (domestic and international) based on business needs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a strategic and analytical approach
