Manager – Fund Accounting (Private Equity)

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Fund Accounting to lead fund accounting operations for Private Equity funds. The role involves managing NAV reviews, investor reporting, financial statements, audits, client relationships, and team leadership while driving process improvements and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and oversee NAV calculations for Private Equity Funds.

Manage fund accounting operations, investor reporting, and regulatory reporting.

Review quarterly investor reports, capital accounts, IRRs, and fund performance metrics.

Oversee preparation of financial statements (US GAAP) and audit deliverables.

Act as the primary escalation point for client and operational queries.

Lead and mentor a team, ensuring high-quality deliverables and employee development.

Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies.

Collaborate with global stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional partners.

Requirements:

MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent qualification.

8–12 years of Fund Accounting experience, preferably in Private Equity Funds.

Strong understanding of financial markets, fund structures, NAV calculations, and investor reporting.

Experience in team management and stakeholder/client engagement.

Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Advanced MS Excel proficiency; Yardi experience is an added advantage.

Ability to work effectively in a global operating environment.
